High Qulity Renovation = Rebuild
December 18, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
What makes a high quality renovation? How does one judge? Is it the finished look, an inspector’s report, a realtor’s opinion? Who knows if home’s real issues were addressed or just covered up?
Rebuilds can remove a lot of the guesswork. They have all new systems, layout, flooring, roof, windows, the list goes on …
Maybe an easier way to describe it is to tell you what is not new.
It’s considered a rebuild rather than new construction for 2 reasons:
- It’s built on an existing foundation (based on structural engineer recommendations).
- Exterior walls and some interior walls remain.
The rest is all new.
At Greystone Classic Properties, we choose to rebuild while still following a new construction building process.
